Scott Pleasants is dynamic and innovative professional. He is a proven leader and in-depth understanding of how business and technology can drive innovation. Seeing people as a catalyst for digital transformation, he knows how the right people help organizations achieve their potential.

He is currently the Chief Information Officer for TRBC where he is responsible for aligning technology services and business logistics supporting the organizations global initiatives.

Before being named CIO in June 2016, Scott was the Director of Engineering Technology and Operations for the Liberty University School of Engineering and Computational Sciences. As one of the founding leaders, he was responsible for all of the technology initiatives and operations, including end-to-end management of classroom innovation, corporate and strategic relations, public relations and services supporting the new academic programs. He also spearheaded a key role in the continued development of strategic corporate and supplier relationships, as well as establishing Liberty as a leader in Engineering and the Computational Sciences.

In his free time, Scott is involved in empowering students and professionals to see their potential though technology, STEM Education and social transformation.

Scott earned an Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University. In 2018, Scott was recognized as a 2018 Microsoft Innovative Educator.
